Do I need a Tesla to use iCar for free?

You need a Tesla's browser, not your Tesla account. The home screen, map, landmarks and tools work without connecting anything. Your Tesla account is only needed for the subscription.

Which Teslas work with the subscription?

Model S, 3, X, Y and Cybertruck running software 2024.26 or newer, once the iCar virtual key is paired from the Tesla app. Some older Model S and X don't have access: the free trial lets you check at no cost.

Does one subscription work everywhere?

Yes. One subscription for your account: in the car, on the web and in the iPhone and Android apps, whether you subscribed on the website or in an app.
