You drive. They know when you'll arrive.

Send a link to someone close, and they follow your Tesla live until you arrive: the map, the distance covered, what is left and the arrival time. No app to install, no account to create.

You drive. They know when you'll arrive.

One link.Nothing to install.

It opens in any browser.

From the "Share this trip" command on the dashboard, or from a trip in progress in "My trips", iCar prepares a link. On the phone, it goes out through the usual share sheet: a text, an email, the messaging app of your choice. On the Tesla's screen, a QR code appears: scan it with your phone to send the link.

Whoever receives it has nothing to do: no app, no account, no password. They open the link, and the page updates on its own.

Where you are.And what is left.

The map, the progress and the arrival time.

The page shows the car on the map, the route already driven and the destination set in the navigation. Below, the departure and arrival towns, the departure time and the estimated arrival time, then a line that moves forward: distance and time done on one side, what remains on the other, as the car reports them.

A break on the way? The page says so, and the arrival time moves back with it. Before departure, it shows the parked car and the destination already chosen, then switches to on the way by itself as soon as the car drives off.

It stops on its own.On arrival.

The link shows nothing more than the trip.

Sharing ends when the car reaches its destination, or when it parks and does not leave again within fifteen minutes. The arrival point stays visible for fifteen minutes, then the link shows nothing. After twelve hours it stops in any case, and you can stop it yourself at any time.

The link is a long random string that cannot be guessed, and search engines do not index it. A finished share says nothing about where the car is parked, and it is erased from our servers the next day.

The connected car.Nothing else.

The Tesla provides its own position.

The position comes from the car itself, continuously, whether iCar's screen is showing or not. Sharing therefore needs a Tesla linked to iCar with data sending turned on, and the subscription. The route line appears if trip recording is turned on for your account.

It is not a command sent to the car: sharing also starts while driving, with no special authorization from Tesla.

Your privacy.With every mile.

No ads, no trackers, no address book.

The tracking page carries no ads and no third-party trackers. And iCar does not keep the contacts you share your trip with: the link leaves from your phone, and we do not know who receives it.

Our commitment is to protect your privacy, at every moment, with every mile.

And there's more.

From the Tesla's screen. A QR code to scan with your phone: the phone sends the link.

Always the same link. Reopening the sheet gives the same link: nothing to resend if you already shared it.

Twelve hours at most. A forgotten share never runs longer, even if the car never stops.
