Badges

Every mile counts.And shows.

A thousand miles driven, a first charge, a new country, a capital reached: iCar turns what your Tesla has already done into badges, dated the day you earned them.

Every mile counts. And shows.

What you already do.Nothing to change.

Nothing more to do than drive and charge.

Badges are earned on their own, from your trips and your charges: distance driven, time behind the wheel, the longest trip in one go, the number of charges and the energy charged, CO₂ avoided, days of driving in a row. Each series has its levels, and the next one shows with its progress.

Thresholds follow your account's units: a thousand miles for one, a thousand kilometers for another, and pounds of CO₂ on an imperial account.

Countries.Capitals.Places.

Your travel log, in badges.

Every country reached counts, up to fifty. The capitals of Europe and those of the fifty US states each have their badge, as do places worth the trip: New York, San Francisco, the Grand Canyon, Mont-Saint-Michel, Mont Blanc or Venice.

Some badges stay hidden until the day you earn them.

Dated.And never lost.

A badge earned stays earned.

A badge carries the date you earned it, and it does not disappear if a trip is deleted later. Under each badge earned, the share of iCar drivers who have it too: a way to know which ones are rare.

Tap a badge you have earned, and it opens as a medal in relief that you spin with a finger.

A notification.Not a leaderboard.

We reward, we do not rate.

When you reach a new level, iCar tells you with a notification on your phone, and an email gathers your new badges at most once a week.

No badge judges how you drive: no braking, no acceleration, no score. Badges tell where you went and how far you drove, nothing else.

And there's more.

First steps. A first trip and a first charge have their badge, from the very first days.

Battery care. Badges for charges that follow the advice for your battery's chemistry.

Reports. Levels for the reports you share with the community, from 1 to 1,000.
